Case Histories: Glandular Fever, ME and MS

Glandular Fever / Epstein Barr Virus

Glandular fever, caused by the Epstein-Barr virus, often affects the young, and with symptoms including high fever, sore throats, swollen tonsils and enlarged lymph nodes, it is quite debilitating and a full recovery can take several months. It often affects young people at the most important stages of their academic life.

Debbie, in her A level year, had been off school for three months suffering from glandular fever, when she came to see a practitioner in early April, 1991. After just one session of Health Kinesiology, she was back at school within the week.

Over the years one practitioner has seen 16 young people, all suffering with glandular fever. After only one or two sessions of Health Kinesiology, the glandular fever has cleared and her clients have resumed a normal life again.

When one client had glandular fever, antibiotics and maximum painkillers could not help with her discomfort. A practitioner performed just one energy correction using a homeopathic version of the Epstein Barr virus, and the client started to get better the following day. A week later, the practitioner saw Holly again - she was doubled up in pain on the floor in a cold sweat. After 5 minutes of Health Kinesiology, her breathing calmed, and after 15 minutes she was able to get up and go to bed. She slept for 3 hours, and was soon back to normal.

After seeing an Health Kinesiology practitioner for help with her glandular fever, one client got home unable to keep her eyes open. She slept from 6pm to 12 noon the following day and then started to feel a lot better. Day by day she improved and after 3 days her tonsils were completely better and the migraines that she was getting had disappeared. She experienced a full recovery shortly afterwards - just in time to go on holiday.

M.E./ Chronic Fatigue Symptoms

ME (Myalgic Encephalopathy), also called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Post-viral Fatigue Syndrome (PVFS), or Immune Dysfunction, is a complex condition, involving a variety of symptoms. The symptoms include a debilitating lack of energy, and often a loss of short term memory, depression, tender joints or glands, headaches and disturbed un-restful sleep. It is notoriously difficult to treat ME with conventional medicines and it can take a wide variety of approaches to achieve a complete return to full health.after a number of months or even years.

A female GP, with chronic fatigue/ME symptoms, visited an Health Kinesiology practitioner. After a prolonged series of treatments, she now feels fully recovered and is practising yoga and learning Reiki.

Another client with ME believes that Health Kinesiology has transformed her life. By helping her come off steroids and by giving her a tremendous feeling of well-being, she is now healthy, happy, relaxed and feeling much more feminine.

A young man, in his early 30's, had been suffering with chronic fatigue syndrome / ME for the past 12 years. Over the course of 3 sessions, the practitioner performed energy corrections to correct biochemical and hormonal imbalances. Allergies and intolerances were also addressed, along with a number of emotional issues. After the 1st session the client noticed a marked improvement and he felt virtually back to normal after his third appointment - and he has now returned to work.

Mrs. D. recovered from her ME after 6 appointments with an Health Kinesiology practitioner. She was also treated for stomach problems, acidity and wind, and felt much better after the first 2 sessions. Her energy system was rebalanced, which made her more able to cope with psychological stress. and also the work helped to correct allergies and sensitivity to electromagnetic pollution.

One client's parents have seen an immense improvement in his chronic fatigue/ME symptoms since he has been for Health Kinesiology. Now, he only has treatments after he has his orthodontic brace adjusted, which results in an increase in lethargy. The sessions quickly bring his energy levels back to a normal level.

M.S. - Multiple Sclerosis

More common in the northern hemisphere, suggesting an environmental link, MS is the most common disorder of the nervous system. Either relapsing, remitting or chronic-progressive in nature, it can affect different people in different ways. It is a condition that has no known cure and there is little available within conventional medicine to bring relief.

After an Health Kinesiology treatment, a lady with longstanding MS not only regained the feeling in her legs and saw an improvement in her ability to walking unaided, but she also felt so much more confident in herself... and thus regained the desire to do something about her condition. Her sleep patterns also improved.
