Case Histories: Animals
- Rabbits A student practitioner worked on her pet rabbit, Benny, as he sometimes had fits of anger and aggression. Her flatmate was scared of the rabbit, and Benny even attacked some builders who walked through the garden. The student practitioner decided to see if she could help Benny, as he was becoming a bit of a problem.
Normally when Benny sensed that the owner was up to something, he ran away, but this time he didn’t. It was established that he needed just one psychological correction – ‘I am important.’ And after the correction was done, Benny disappeared again.
Since then he has not only stopped the biting, but he has also become much more affectionate.
- Dogs Emma, (the dog), was taken to the Vets because she appeared to have a film starting to cover her eyes. The vet didn’t know what it was and so the dog was taken by her owner to an eye specialist. The diagnosis was not good. It looked like Emma would be blind in approximately six months. The owner, who was also a Health Kinesiologist, decided that she was not going to accept the fact that Emma was going to go blind and so she started to work on her with Health Kinesiology.
After just six weeks the blue film didn’t seem as thick as it had been and so Emma was taken back to the eye specialist, to establish whether this in fact was the case. After examining Emma the Vet said that there had been a marked improvement in her condition and that she saw no reason why the condition should not improve further.
Emma’s eyes have continued to improve and they now appear to be browner than they have been for a while. – all thanks to Health Kinesiology!
- Horses One of my clients asked if I would have a look at her horse, Harvey. Harvey, aged 20, had been diagnosed with Cushings Disease after two years of going down hill with lethargy, muscle wastage and laminitis. Homeopathy had helped him significantly and the owner was really pleased with his progress given the fact that he had not taken any drugs at all for his condition, but she wondered if Health Kinesiology™ might help him further.
After a couple of sessions Harvey’s energy levels and his general well being improved further. During the first session it was also picked up that there was an irregularity which he had had for many years that was linked to a knee splint that he had when he was 5 years old. This irregularity caused muscle wastage to his rear fore shoulder and he often stood with this leg in front of his other leg. After the work had been completed Harvey actually stood square again and no longer noticing the road cambers like he did.
The HK work was done with the permission from the Vet.
Thanks for all your help – Harvey.
