Geopathic Stress ? Understanding the lesser seen energy of the earth By Ben Calder

"As a HK'er, I had heard about GS (geopathic stress), I knew that it was additional training I could do and use with HK, I even had a fair idea of what it meant and how it would effect people, but in reality, I knew very little. The world revealed to me through GS training with Giulia Boden was both amazing and fascinating, while at the same time a little daunting as to how much around us could be affecting our health. I had been living in a new house for about 6 months and was becoming aware of things not being right there, I was starting to become ill, frustrated, angry, and irrational. Whatever work I did for myself did not seem to hold and I was becoming more than a bit frustrated. At the same time I had clients who were not moving along like I hoped and despite my best efforts with both the house and the clients I felt like I lacked the language, the energy awareness to really define and deal with the cause of the problem. My feeling said that there was some kind of GS monkey on my back, so I followed my heart and booked on Giulia's course. I was lucky, the week before the course I found a copy of Jane Thurnell-Read?s GS book, which I read on the train, giving me a taste of what was to come. But by the time I had met Giulia and opened the front page of the manual, I knew this was what I needed and that the journey was going to be highly experiential. There was no doubt that even after the first day I started to look at the world in a different light, started noticing things that I never would have paid attention to before.

What we learned

Giulia taught us to open up our 'GS antenna' when working and to carefully cleanse and close ourselves when we had finished. Through a series of physical encounters she encouraged us to find and feel different types of earth energy and to store that energy signature so that when we were testing we could be clear about the difference between underground water and a black cancer line. Oh yes they feel, move and behave very differently.

Dowsing and a site survey.

For those of us who did not know, we were also taught how to use dowsing rods and how to combine use of self-testing, the rods and pendulums to assess different energies from different angles and to confirm our testing. The course also taught us to not only see the signs in a house or building, but also to see the fascinating way that nature responds to GS energy through the growth patterns of trees and plants. Using sites such as the Nun's graveyard and the beautiful Jesmond Deane as well as indoor locations, made this an experiential adventure that was never dull or slow. Giulia's humour, spirit and teaching skills also kept a good pace, even the people on the course who were not HK'ers were able to easily access the content and the group worked well together. In between getting a feel for the energies, Giulia taught us how to examine a site, what needed to be done to survey it. We were given a very clear pro-forma on how to survey a site from top to bottom and how to translate that information into what needed to be done to heal the energies so they no longer had a detrimental effect on those living there and how to maintain that. After learning to 'see with my navel' I was certainly more confident to GS test, feeling that I knew what I was looking for.

Applying the new skills has led to a more comfortable home life.

I went home empowered and ready to face the challenges of my own house. Some of this was tested while on the course and the remainder at home. But when I tested what corrections needed to be done and put them in place, it certainly made a difference. The air became more peaceful, the tension dissolved and certain parts of the house just felt more comfortable to be in. I have already started to pick up on little items for my clients to help with their living spaces and done surveys on the houses of some family members. Next week (end of Jan) sees the first full survey at the house of a client. I am excited to see what happens because she already suspected GS but like me did not know how to deal with it. I certainly get a sense of adventure when I think about testing for these energies, all around us, all the time, yet we hardly think about it.
