Members Area
Welcome to the new section of the web site, which is now only available to practitioners who are current members of HK UK.
This section has been designed to be informative about building your practice, tools to help you achieve this, some courses for continuing your professional development, etc. These courses are not official Health Kinesiology™ courses and are not taught by HK teachers but have been found to be of interest to members. Please contact the course organisers directly for any information.
We are constantly looking for suggestions to improve this area, so please email me at theshwanrooms@gmail.com with anything that you would like to see on these pages.

Tips & Tools
Guidelines based on our experiences of promoting therapy practices
The following pages contain guidelines on techniques and activities which been successfully used by other practitioners to help build their therapy practices. We hope that they will provide ideas and motivation for therapists to get out there and grow their therapy practices.
I anticipate that this section will develop over the coming year, as we collect more information from practitioners about their experiences, tips and advice.
If you would like to contribute, please contact Amannda.
Advertising in Local & Regional Press
What works and what doesn’t (most advertising isn’t cost effective!).
Advertising Standards Agency Guidelines
The ASA have strict guidelines of what can and can not be said download the guidelines, as you will see many of it comes down to interpretation. Now as it is all a matter of interpretation we have to tread with even more care, but at least we have our leaflet ‘authorised’ by them. These guidelines are occuring across the board for all alternative therapies and unless we have ‘scientific’ proof of what we say HK can help then we need to identify a better way to deal with things. The best way to fight this is to contact your local MP, get your clients to contact them as well, and just keep bombarding them with emails and letters so they take the problem seriously. It is not enough for just one of us to fight the ASA everyone has to do it, only then can change really occur.
