I am a Health Kinesiology Practitioner, Reflexologist and Reiki
II Practitioner.
When I left school I worked as a Bank Clerk;
then in various administrative positions in the National Coal
Board; and, after the birth of my two children, I studied with
The Open University. After passing my Psychology & Education
Degree I fulfilled my long term dream of qualifying as a teacher.
Over a relatively short time I taught people from nursery age
to adults. I took additional qualifications for teaching and
assessing Dyslexia and as a Special Needs Co-ordinator. Then
I started studying Brain Gym (Educational Kinesiology). However
I felt the education system was letting people down, partly through
trying to fit individuals, as we all are, into one mould.
I really enjoyed helping people to
learn but felt unable to continue, so I left teaching. At the
same time my personal circumstances were changing dramatically.
In an effort to get myself back on track, in all aspects of my
life, I tried Complementary Health Therapies. This was when I found
Health Kinesiology (HK).
After a short HK taster session as a client,
I started the HK course alongside training in other treatments.
One of the wonderful things about HK is that it suggests the
most appropriate treatment for each individual at any particular
time. This means that the other treatments I have trained in, such
as Reflexology and Reiki, may become part of a HK session.
I love variety in my life
and I certainly get that with Health Kinesiology. Each HK
session is different, which is good for me as a practitioner,
and gives clients some incredible experiences whilst helping
them with many aspects of their lives.
I am enjoying helping people to learn
about themselves and to grow in as many ways as possible,
whilst they move towards achieving their full potential
in this life-time. Obviously this process is helped by a
person's willingness to be open to the processes.
Let me help you on the path to better health.
