My Story
Having had a healthy, scientific upbringing including a Biology Degree from York University and three years as a Research Scientist for GlaxoSmithKline, alternative therapy had never crossed my mind. This changed in 2004 when I became virtually bed-bound having caught a virus that led to Post Viral Syndrome (CFS / ME). I was as shocked as everyone else, managing little more than a few walks to the kitchen to prepare some simple food each day. After three months of doctors' visits with no improvement I embarked on some alternative therapy. My recovery began.
After experiencing many different alternative therapies, Health Kinesiology (HK) stood out because of its amazing ability to identify what would help my recovery and what would not, using muscle testing... mind-boggling! Having experienced the benefits of HK for myself, and having seen other family and friends' transformation during HK treatment, I was inspired to train as a Health Kinesiologist, providing me with a wonderful career.
What is HK?
HK offers many different healing options, including extra nutritional support, energy rebalancing procedures involving acupressure point touch and daily activity suggestions. Your energy system responds to these options via muscle testing, creating a fascinating tailor-made session especially for you.
Physical illness can often be the result of emotional, mental or spiritual unease. HK's scope to help resolve these issues can promote the bodies own natural healing processes by addressing the deeper causes, and not just the symptoms.
